An article in the June 2 issue of Information Week, Make It YourTube (Link below), makes a great case for why companies need to use video in telling their story on the internet. While it gets way to technical when talking about equipment, it makes three points that continually reinforce in our program “Introduction to the Social Media for Non-Technical Companies”.

  1. “The Internet has made video accessible to everyone – including your competitors. It’s time to jump in.”
  2. “Video is the most effective form of communication on the Internet today. Believe it.”
  3. “As the lines between TV and the Internet blur, the smart money is on video driving a better relationship between you, your customers, and your employees.”
