Boyd Vander Houwen

Boyd has 30+ years experience in strategic public relations, employee communications, story telling, community relations, crisis management, and daily newspaper reporting. He is currently involved in leading the agency's push into social media. Prior to launching VHPR, he was manager of corporate communications at Rainier Bank (now Bank of America) and an information officer/editor at the University of Washington's Graduate School of Business.

Jim Lombardo
Adjunct Account Manager

At VHPR Jim fills a variety of roles providing media training, crisis management support and video consulting. Jim's extensive experience in video and television production has been extremely valuable in our media training. Jim has experience in corporate communications, public relations, video production and training.

Jeanmarie Jordan
Client Services Manager

Jeanmarie manages accounts receivable, billing and agency administration, and also works in client services for VHPR. She is also an outstanding editor and adds her expertise to all VHPR projects. She was manager of Social Policy for Rainier Bank in Seattle for several years. After leaving Rainier Bank, Jeanmarie founded several community projects in Grapeview and launched JMJ Bookkeeping.

Barbara Peters
Strategic Partner

Barbara collaborates with Boyd in the areas of marketing, business development and client presentations. Her expertise in financial management, strategic planning and market research brings essential ingredients to clients' business needs. Barbara believes in business models that support purposeful philanthropy. She is a member of Bellevue Rotary, Communities in Schools of Washington and South Seattle Community College President's Advisory Board. And she loves golf!

Erika Taylor
Strategic Partner

Erika works with VHPR clients on marketing communications, editing and writing, and online media monitoring. She brings more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as Marketing Manager at Wentworth, Hauser and Violich Investment Counsel. In her spare time, Erika enjoys volunteering at her children's schools and with the Issaquah Highlands Contribution Club.
